the new C7 logo

We've speculated about every other C7 detail ad nauseum... :ack: ...now let the new C7 logo speculation begin! :woohoo:

Will it be another crossed flag swishy thing? Something retro? Or something angular and edgy?

Merchandising the Corvette logo is big $$$! Will it look cool on a black tshirt?
Enter your version here. Hoaxes welcomed (it's not like we can stop them anyway). Claiming you actually saw the C7 logo, is a huge plus... even if it is total BS. At least make up a believable story for us.

Come back in January to see who actually got it right!

Cheers,

That STINGRAY emblem is fine art of a type we haven't seen on a production car in many a year.

That would be awesome if they could pull something off that classy.

I remember seeing a more stylized version of the C6 crossed flags somewhere, and thought it looked fine. Don't remember where, though. Maybe somebody else does.

I can't find it...thought it was from the Transformer Stingray Concept but could be wrong.

It looks too much like the 6th gen Camaro logo. Therefore... I do not like it.

Agreed. 3D, multiple components, beautifully sculptured. It is a great looking logo. How do they put it on a coffee mug? ;)

Those flags would make Jake a look a lot more pissed off.

BuckyThreadkiller 06-06-2012 12:37 PM

I believe those flags were designed by a guy who used to post here. He actually got a job at GM Design and had to pull all his concept art off the web. He did some really top shelf work.

No kidding? I like the new flags design . . . The Stingray is too busy for a logo, I think.

And would also add too much weight, look at that heavy chunk of steel! :willy: :D ;)

They would make of aluminum or titanium. Possibly hollow. Don't short change the ability of the engineers to offset what the stylists do to lower the performance of the car.
