C6 z06 wheels on c5 coupe

First time starting a thread. :woohoo:

There is a guy near me selling z06 wheels off a c6. They are 18"-19" I currently have 17"-18". What size tires can or should I run on the new z06 wheels? Will this hurt my ride quality? Also looking for tire recommendations. I currently have continental extreme contact and seem ok but I would like a much stickier tire.

P.S. This forum rocks!!! You guys are great.

Question has been asked dozens of times. Search will find them easily. Rear wheels are 12" wide and will not fit a C5 without sticking out SIGNIFICANTLY or using flared rear quarters. Unless of course if these are repros in a size to fit a C5.

:iagree:

Good advice by 8VETTE7. Having the tires stick out past the fenders would be :ack: IMO.

I have Original C6 Zo6 wheels

They do fit... yes they stick out a bit on rear. but not as bad as people think. I get a lot of compliments that it looks aggressive.

enjoy:cheers:

I had them on mine for awhile. They look great, but mine had the run flats... rode like crap... and it did bother me that they stuck out.

what it looks like is subjective. if you like it, that's all that matters.
