1972 Corvette project with a good start!

The period correct 350 engine (NOM) was professionally rebuilt by a highly regarded company in Shreveport, Louisiana. It comes with a 4spd transmission. The previous owner told me he installed a new clutch, pressure plate , throw out bearing and flywheel. The car went through a frame-off restoration start. The frame was actually replaced with one from a later model C3. So everything underneath looks nice. The frame and suspension work is complete! Many new parts. New control arms, starter, alternator, hoses and belts. It was originally an AC car so the vents are there but is missing the compressor, brackets, etc..

I have the bumpers and grilles. Bumpers are in good condition but should be re-chromed.

Needs fiberglass work, paint. Also could use new door panels, seat covers, and carpet. Needs complete exhaust system run.

I love these cars but I realized I'm not ready to do a project.
$7,500 firm. Will consider trades up or down. Thanks

Survived hurricane Isaac! I had to jack the car way up to keep it from flooding!

I'm not usually into the later model c3s. What can you tell me about the car? What's it need?

The car is insured and tagged. It has a 496 with a mild hyd roller cam 781 heads with a 289 block. Car has serp drive accessory's, jeep box conversion, with all new bushings ball joint body mounts. Front and rear suspension either rebuilt or upgraded with performance parts. All new interior all the way down to the fasteners holding things together. I have $15000.00 invested all documented in receipts. Car needs some odd and ends to be 100% its a good 95% now. I would trade/cash from you. Willing to start over to get into a steel bumper car.

Back on the market... Sale fell through. Anyone interested???
