MAF retaining clip part number?
Anyone know of a part number for the gray plastic retaining clip for the MAF sensor. I had one of those  "OH S!*T" moments when mine went flying down into the engine bay. Searched for about an hour. I'm guessing its a goner. See Maxx Schlick's post for a picture. It appears to be a C6 where as mine is a C5, but you get the point:

FYI
I could not find just the grey (gray) retaining clip, but I was able to find the entire plug. Here is google search criteria: Acdelco Pt1274 Sensor Mass Airflow Connector 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 5.7l mass air flow connector standard motor products s-1262 http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-PT1274...ype=automotive |
Delphi (GM) part number 15317832
It's called: "LOCK, CPA AXIAL, GY LT" which, translated means: Connector Position Assurance, Axial, Gray Light (light gray), Lock.
http://delphi.com/connectors/assets/...15317832ph.png It fits a connector (body) part number 15305555 which is what your 5-pin MAF uses: http://www.mouser.com/images/delphic...15305555hs.jpg Mouser carries this lock and currently only has 35,800 on hand @ 17¢ ea. so get one before they're gone. http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine....d=829-15317832 You're in luck however, as Mouser has no order minimum for anything they have in stock, so order (their) part number 829-15317832. www.mouser.com Btw, if the two "legs" seem a bit too long, you can carefully shorten them with a razor blade (or X-acto knife) just enough, so it slips in and locks correctly. Shorten only a little at a time. I had to do this on another one in the past. HTH |
