Vegetable oil powered diesel C-4. Lemons racer no less!

Article says it's 84-96 vintage, but it has the older style rear.

Isn't the owner of the car on the forum?

I recall something about an enduro/Lemons car but didn't remember the french fry fuel. The again I can't remember what I had for lunch so maybe this is old news. Kind of neat to see it on a big news site regardless.

So do I. I agree, pretty cool.

Yea, I joined to get some info and list a few things for sale to help keep me below budget, but I'm not a regular.

It's a 1985 and was a factory automatic. Pretty ratty when I got it sans engine and trans.

Everyone keeps wanting me to lower the compression and put a turbo on it, but with the reliability issues of the 350 diesel, it's not such a wise idea I'm thinking...

(if anyone wants to come race it, I've still got seats available for the December 8-9 race at Chuckwalla).

I'm guessing 1985 by the wheels and exterior.

There's also the big 85 on the door...
