Bad Deal, What would U do?

I purchased a procharger SC, Oil catch cans x 2, Alky methinjection kit, Long tube header, and a cat back exhaust. In exchanged for an agreed amount of money plus my any stock parts he needed back to put his car back together. I made this deal with someone here through CF, but i don't want to name any names yet. I want to see what you guys think. When we were making the deal for the Sc he said he didn't have the tunner or the crank pinning kit, but he would include a Inovator West 8-rib harmonic balancer & 8-rib PS pulley, but he told me he was still using the 6-rib belt. I also specificlly ask him if he was having any problems with the belt coming off do to the his Ilder tension arm because i had read that there were some issue with it, but Procharger had a newer verison of it that solved it. He told me no his was fine not a single problem with it. I also made the point to ask that I would be geting everything I need to install the SC kit. He reasured me that I was. When I got everything I imediately noticed that Innovator West harmonic Balancer and the Oil Catch Cans were not among the parts. he 1st tried to say that since we renigotiated the price that he didn't say it was included and yes we renigotiated the price because i was buying more than just the SC kit, but he never said anything about changing what I was getting. We just talked about the price only. I said what about the Oil Catch Cans and his reply was I took them to the packageing place and they can't find them, so I'm out and your out. Of course i said it doesn't work that way, If i don't recieve the parts i want my money back. I'm not done yet. My car has been at the installers for alomost 2 weeks because of missing or broken parts. All in all I've spent $800 for missing or replacement parts, not including the Innovator West harmonic Balance $550 and Oil Catch Cans $250.
I feel like he needs to refund me for sure what I paid him for his oil catch cans that I didn't get. I also feel like I should recieve at least some money back on the $800 worth of missing or broken parts. One of the biggest things is that the idler tennsion arm wasn't any good at all and i had specifically asked him about and that was $288 of the $800.
I feel that if I had recieved all the parts and they were working and i had drove the car for even a day before they failed on me, then that would have to be chalked up to I knew they were used when i bought them and this was a chance I took, but since the parts were broken or missing when I got them that the seller should refund me some of the money. I have all the stock parts he needs to put his car back together, but I haven't shipped them to him yet because he seems to think he doesn't owe me anything. If it had been just a couple of things I would even sweat it, but we're talking about $800 worht of stuff. Am I wrong in the fact I feel I should be refunded a portion of my money. I appreciate any reply on this and any suggestion on how to handle this. Thanks

In order to do this right and to avoid a bunch of speculation etc....please follow this format http://forums.corvetteforum.com/foru...-disputes.html

and post it here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/tran...-feedback-153/

there is no way to do this in a "what do you think I should do" format without it becoming a big problem.
