Hawk Brake Pads on Sale- Best price PLUS Free Shipping!

We have Hawk Brake Pads for the C5 and C6 Corvette on sale. This includes the following compounds-
  • HPS- Better performing than stock carbon based pad
  • Performance Ceramic- My personal favorite, these ceramic pads perform about the same as HPS, but have very low noise and dust!
  • HP PLUS - This is a high performance, aggressive carbon compound racing pad designed for track use. It should not be used on a daily driver because it is noisy, and hard on rotors.
You can order these off our website at the link below. Also note that all orders over $100 get FREE SHIPPING! If you have questions, call us @ 443-730-9428!

I'm going with you guys for the Hawk ceramics, DBA 4000 T3 rotors and SS brake lines for my 06 coupe. I thought about doing the R&R myself but figured I'd save time (& perhaps frustration) having it done at a local vette shop. What's a fair price for having this done? I'm also looking at a brake flush and if the price is right, caliper paint job.

Should only be an hour of labor, so $100? Somewhere around there

Yea right. I had a guy in my club who had his rotors and pads replaced at a front end shop. They charged him $2500.00. Labor is so costly today!

The hardest part of the one piece pad install was dealing with the fifth left behind by the stock pads. Good lord. I followed the bed in instructions on the box. The brakes work perfectly. Same as stock. I can't feel any difference. Cleaner? You bet. I'm finding that I wipe off the wheels every forth drive and what I wipe off is nothing like the stock pads. I'm very happy. Thank you Hawk and MarylandSpeed.

2011 Grand Sport?

We love SALES! Now...I need to know which pads to buy. Here's my deal:

*HATE the constant squeal of the stock pads
*HATE the excessive dust
*I do NOT race my car but I drive aggressively.
*I do not need an extreme pad but I don't want ones that lack stopping power.

So what one-piece pad do I get?

HB658Z...Luxury and Touring?

Thanks!

The Performance Ceramic are our best selling pad for the Corvette and the best Hawk pad for reducing (read:not eliminating) the dust and noise. So, the second ones you listed!!

Follow up: I have about 3k mikes on my Hawk pads now. In my opinion,
The Hawk ceramic pads are stronger than stock. More responsive. There is no cold time warm up for them. Dead quite. Cleaner. The dust is different than stock. They say ya can't use them on the track. Bummer. I'd rather not have to change them each track day. Great pads.....

Do you have any experience with their pads on C6 ZR1 CCM rotors. Looking for an alternative to the costly OEM pads.

MarylandSpeed 09-23-2015 04:42 PM

No I don't..sorry!

dr_gallup 04-06-2016 10:48 AM

What's the advantage of the one piece pads over the OEM Padlet Design?

they must have saw your friend coming for a mile, but $300 labor on a brake job for any car is not uncommon, you see those $199 per axle all the time and that's with cheap pads
