Ordered my 2012 GS from Tommy in March. Everything was done over the phone and overnight mail. Tommy took care of everything.

Used Intercity to get my 2007 to Tommy and again to get the 2012 to me. Intercity is a class act. Driver kept in touch and was on time.

If you go with Intercity be sure to let them know you are a Forum member. They give a discount.

Good Luck with your sale.

Got my GS from Chriswell awesome in every way!!! And much closer to the OP!

Don't forget to budget 6% of the sale price for Florida sales tax. No way around it unless you plan on garaging it for 6 months and then registering it... and good luck explaining that one.

Just buy from Tommy Jr. DONE. I did. Good luck

Another satisfied MacMulkin customer here. The only thing that would make me look elsewhere would be a lower price. But MacMulkin has NO extra fees AT ALL.

Buy it! You won't go wrong.:thumbs: :yesnod::yesnod:

Been dealing with Tommy and a possible new 2013. Experience has been great so far. I would definitely recommend him and the dealership.

MidYearRoadster 01-08-2013 02:27 PM

we have been dealing with Tommy Jr. since 2007, 4 vehicles later and I can say without hesitation he is one of the best. No baloney, nothing is hidden, no dealer fees. He has sold alot of cars to people out of state as you have heard with nothing but praise from his customers. He doesn't advertise all over the place like some of the other dealers, he gets his customers by word of mouth from satisfied people. If he isn't the largest selling dealer he must be numer 2 at least. Have no fears dealing with Tommy

The East Coast is going to have 40 degree weather the later part of the week and the weekend. See if you can get a one way flight to Boston or Manchester, NH, make your deal with Tommy and fly up and drive home. In a few hours you will be south of the snow belt and can enjoy the nice drive home. If you have the time a lot more fun than shipping the car.

Some of the weather forecasts for areas you would pass through on the first or second day of a trip home this weekend.

Tommy is the man. Bought my 2011 GS Vert and 2012 Camaro from him. Flawless transaction.

I bought from Tommy, Jr. and he put up with my questions and indecision until I finally pulled the trigger. With Tommy you are dealing with the only person that makes the deal, no running to check with someone whether they can make the deal or not. When I picked up my Corvette both my wife and I were treated in a professional and courteous way by every employee we met, bar none. No BS, the car was detailed, the 20 day NH temp plate was attached and all the paperwork was in order. Seamless transaction and Tommy kept me informed as the car was built and where in the process I was. I had the car flat bedded to my house in a nearby state and even the driver, who worked for Tommy, took extra time unloading the car and answered all my questions. I visited many high volume Corvette dealerships before I purchased my car and Tommy had the best deal.

capecodvette 01-08-2013 03:26 PM

with all due respect to others, there are other high volume Corvette dealers out there. MacMulkin and Tommy Jr are very good. Heck, I live in MA, and ended up ordering a 2013 GS Convertible from Mike Furman/Criswell Chevy.

The same discounting as MacMulkin, Kerbeck.

^ good point about Tommy doing his own deals, I forgot to mention that. He sell around 300 Vettes per year, so I think the man knows what he's doing. He's got one of the best jobs in the world. I'd give my right nut to have his job..

Tommy Jr is a good guy, sells lots of Vettes. He is not the only one that sells a ton of Vettes. True, I am on the Mike Furman band-wagon, but 34 years selling Vette's....hmmmm...#1 in Corvette sales in the country, Mike transacts his own deals, runs the Corvette business for Criswell, has 170+ Corvette's on the ground....highly respected and regarded at Bowling Green by the entire BG team, including the plant manager.

I'll admit that is a cool endorsement.

I have bought two new Vettes from Tommy my 2005 coupe and my 2012 GS. I flew up and drove back to Florida each time. I took the scenic route 84 to 81 to 77 then to 95. It is an awesome drive particularly in a new Vette!

trading tiger 01-08-2013 04:40 PM

I bought my 2013 GS coupe in November, brand spanking new, from Tommy Jr. Couldn't have been easier and I'm a fully satisfied customer. It won't be the last time I buy a car from him, I can tell you that. I decided to fly up there and drive it back because Intercity transport was going to be $1000 to SC. My plane ticket, hotel room, and a couple tanks of gas wasn't even $500, although I was #$^^&$# at the thought of having to drive in winter road conditions. Luckily for me, it snowed on Tuesday and was gone by Thursday when I arrived.

For those pointing out other high volume dealerships, specifically Kerbeck, all I can say is I wouldn't buy a car that was in NY/NJ at the time of "super storm" Sandy if you paid me.

LooseScrew 01-08-2013 04:40 PM

Bought from Tommy 5 weeks ago. Smooth as silk transaction. I also contacted another forum vendor twice by e-mail prior to making the deal. Never heard back from them either time.

MacMulkin is the #2 new Corvette dealer.

So if the discouting was the same, why buy from so far away?

Me, I knew of the other dealers but I drove 20 minutes up the street, talked with Tommy, explained I wanted to go used due to a couple of identity theft bad credit reports on my credit report & Tommy was able to put me in a '13 for a hellof a lower iterest rate, the same monthly payments, & term as the 'mom & pop' used car dlrs. were trying to do with no C6 newer than an 08 with 50K plus miles!

How can one beat that?
