C7 Streaming Video Question - How to Record?

I wanted to see if anyone had a recommendation for the preferred website to watch the reveal. I have hooked one of my computers to my HDTV. Here is the big question, is there a way to record the streaming video to my computer's hard drive? I have the hard drive space, but I may need to purchase some software to capture the video.

Thank you for any advice on how to do this.

I would think someone tech savvy will be posting it to YouTube.:flag:

Yea.. Youtube would be your best bet. You can download it from there once somebody uploads it. There are several software programs that will capture video played on your computer. Free Screen Video Capture is one that comes to mind. Just google "on screen video capture" and you will find several options.

It will be on You Tube. You can access it any time. It will be shown live on You Tube as well.

Check "RealPlayer" from RealNetworks. However, most of the softwares would allow you to save a video once it has been uploaded but not while it's being streamed live. For that you may have to purchase the Pro version realplayer that has Encloding and decoding built in.

Hope this helps!

You Tube resolution is poor. I would bet a recording from the live streaming sites will be far better.

I bet next week, every car rag website will have 1000's of pic's. As well as youtube.

Autoweek.com will be showing it live also.

I use "Download Helper" for Firefox. You can Google it. I'm sure there are similar add-ons for other browsers.

Don't worry I'll be recording the stream live using screen flow on my mac. I'll have it up on YouTube as soon as possible.
