Its pretty easy to use. Just have fun!

Good to see you went with that clutch. I love it. It'll take you a few days to get used to it, but once you do, it's awesome.

Did you get the light flywheel?

Undy 01-19-2013 07:24 AM

I love mine too. It hooks.

Even though McLeod says there's no idle rattle due to their anchored floater plate there is still some idle rattle... How are other's experience with this??

jwmgr8 01-19-2013 09:34 AM

Drive fast it helps brake in the clutch quicker?

Unreal 01-19-2013 09:36 AM

Rattle went away after ~1k miles on friends car.

I can't decide between the RXT and Mantic dual when I upgrade from my LS9R setup.

Turbosixx 01-19-2013 12:05 PM

Mike, please give us initial feedback on the clutch.

I was getting ready to go back to the dealership and tell them they had left something loose in my trans. after they installed my RXT. It may go away at 1k miles like Unreal says, but I haven't driven mine that much. I'm at around 400-500 miles and I don't notice it as much.

Turbosixx,
I know you asked for Mike's review but I feel qualified to reply since I just had mine installed. The clutch pedal is awesome and it hooks great.

I may be overthinking it, but I'm worried about it being 'too much' clutch for my setup. I'm worried it'll hook so much that it'll bog down the engine too much at every shift. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to it and learning how to drive it. But overall, it's an awesome street clutch.

azZ06Mike 01-19-2013 05:01 PM

I will so do you guys slip it or dump and go or both?

NachosZO6 01-19-2013 05:13 PM

Gonna be really tricky to 'slip' that clutch. It just grabs and goes. Gonna take some practice so you can get your shifting down.

The_Raging_Bull 01-19-2013 08:26 PM

easier to slip with lots of rwhp...

morris 01-19-2013 09:14 PM

sorry not familliar with that one is it a drag clutch my BC2 is giving up the ghost after less than a year and I need to find something suitable for street and road track.

azZ06Mike 01-19-2013 09:52 PM

It's a street and drag clutch. I looked at the BC2 but read it does not last long. I found nothing but good about the rxt.

C6z06man 01-20-2013 12:20 AM

Shouldn't take long for you to get used to it.

Unreal 01-20-2013 10:27 AM

RXTs drive like stock once broken in. They do take mileage to do that.
