Ret. Navy Man takes the train from Va Beach North to drive his new 2013 GS Cpe home

I got a call from Jim a couple of weeks ago and he was seeking a new 2013 Corvette Grand Sport cpe. Jim and his wife live in Virginia Beach, VA which is about a 4 hr ride from Criswell. Jim had shopped the internet as he is a CF member and he was looking for a 2013 GS Cpe Crystal Red Metallic with Auto trans and 3LT, Chrome wheels and black interior but the cashmere interior pictures I had sent him were intriguing. He has owned a few Vettes before and one of them was the 50th Anniversary with the shale interior. He and his wife made the joint decision to go for it so Jim decided to take the train to Wash DC and then the Metro to Shady Grove where I had a driver waiting to pick him up. Within an hour he was headed South to Va Beach, snow flakes and all. Enjoy the pictures and your new ride Jim! "He got a Great Corvette Forum deal, call 301 212 4420 for yours."

....and words written by Jim...
"Thanks Mike, What an amazing experience! This being my 3rd Corvette, the rush and joy just keeps getting better. As Mike stated, I began my search for a new Vette several weeks. After contacting a few of the major CF dealers, I finally settled on Criswell and Mike Furman. Mike and his team showed enormous patience with me for as many of you know, buying a Corvette is a decision not to be taken lightly. After a few undecided and nearly down turn moments, our decision was in place and Mike took over. Within minutes of my arrival at the nearby metro station, Mike had dispatched a driver to bring me to the dealership. With coffee waiting, the dealership was a welcomed warm up coming from temps in the 20’s. Everything about the transaction was as promised. Met Mr. Brain Geist (General Sales Manager) who was very cordial in welcoming. Mike was available and quickly escorted me to his office. After a short time I was in with Mr. Dan (the finance/contract man). Dan is another great member of the Criswell team. The numbers were all there and they were as I expected. No surprises, no ups, no extras. Just an excellent deal. Finally it was back with Mike where he meticulously proceeded to go over the various components of the vehicle. Although we were somewhat outdoors, Mike was able to cover the major areas of vehicle operation. Before I knew it I was rolling down Corvette Alley and onto the interstate. The 216 mile trip home was ample opportunity to well verse myself in the operation of the car. Keeping in true Corvette fashion and style, when I decided I needed to be down or around another vehicle, the Corvette delivered without hesitation. True power and performance.

In summary, the folks at Criswell Chevrolet are superior. From your first contact and negotiations, to the actual meeting at the dealership (if you decide to go there in person) the entire process is flawless. A big salute to Mr. Brian Geist (General Sales Manager) who worked with me coming to the right price. To Mr. Dan (Finance/Contract Man), thanks for being so efficient and right on. Your listening skills are remarkable. Finally to the man that made it all possible, Mr. Mike Furman. The Corvette name could not ask for a better representative. Mike exemplifies what it means to take care of the customer and ensure that all is what was promised and delivered. His knowledge and enthusiasm of the Corvette is unmatched. If you or anyone you know are thinking, shopping, or just looking for a Corvette, do yourself justice and place the name Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet at the top of your list. It’ll be the best part of your check off list as you build your dream Corvette. " Jim

One of the best satisfied customer write ups to date of the service of the sale from Criswell Chevrolet and Mike Furman.

Heck, before this write up, I always thought that Mike Furman was the only employee at Criswell! "Who are those other guys, anyway"?!

There is something about retired Military and Mike Furman that really clicks when it comes to the sale of a Corvette. Most likely mutual trust, and they all dot their "i's" and cross their "t's".
