Show us your less expensive wheels
Ive found many posts showing top notch, light weight, big money wheels. I couldnt find a post showing wheels, of a lesser cost than ccw, ect. I would like to see some pics of wheels in the $200 to $300 a wheel range. Thanks
|
Here ya go. $200 per wheel and I have a spare set for anybody that is interested...

I love your set up! I'm not as good with the camera but here's mine. I think these were about 250/wheel.
I think these look a lot better in person though. |
Vetfeva2 those look good on that ride. Like the OP I love the expensive wheels but don't have the budget. I see some used C6 wheels in my future though.

C5 Z06 motorsports, 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 I believe they cost around $900 back 8 years ago. They also come in black. Mid America as well as many others carry this model. They have held up very well.

Someone needs to
Come up with a place centrally located so we can just meet and show off our cars... I'm in
|
This thread boils down to ccws and rubber for $4000 or lesser priced wheels and rubber for $2000. This is really our most common 2 options. You either spend ,$4000 or $2000.
|
This thread just proves that you can have really nice looking wheels at a modest price. They may not be totally unique, but they totally look good.

http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/...psc216d384.jpg They're a custom machined face wheel then clearcoated for easy cleaning and protection. I am not posting pictures of mine since they are stock wheels, but for those upgrading from wagon wheels, good magnesiums go for about 200 per wheel, and I bought a set of Z06 speedlines for $300, and a couple good sets of polished thinspokes for $200 for the set. (One set that isn't real clean for only $120 and I expect to polish them.) |
Thanks, I love them. They are very unique and very few sets exist. In my area there are only two sets of them; my current set and my previous set that I sold locally. For ~$160, per wheel they are not only very affordable but also one of the lightest wheels on the market one can own without spending ~$3K per wheel for carbon fiber.
