Door handle rod nut - clip
 

Well my first post isnt even technical. I cant find the clip that goes on the opposite end of the of the outside door handle rod. It clips over the adjustable nut. I have searched mid america and sereravl other vendors and have come up empty. I could use a C clip but I'd bet that it wont last. Do I need to get it from a Chevy dealer?

if your talking about the clip that slides onto the door latch that the door handle rod pushes thru, then its the same one that the inner door handle rod uses. If you get desparate, use that one and wire tie the rod clip you just robbed. You really dont need to wire tie it, but do it as a precaution. Those clips I only find at my local corvette shop

Ok I feel stupid. Thanks. I didnt want to tear my other side apart and I just stole one from the other rods and bingo... It threw me off because it had a groove in the end and I was thinking it was for a circle clip or something.
