It is a good practice not to open any email from senders you do not know or recognize. Delete them.

Recently I've been getting an email message from the "Delivery Manager" telling me they are having trouble delivering my package.

I haven't ordered anything.

:)

That's funny, I can't get e-mails from the C3 registry. I have requested my password several times but never get anything, yes I do check my junk mail to see if it went in there....

I received it too. It appears to be a legit C3 Registry entry, and a pretty harmless email. I forwarded it on to the site owner.

DITTO!

I make it a habit of NOT replying to email where I do not know the sender.

Well, Most of you are paranoid, it was legit and friend has alerted me to this thread. I was simply trying to communicate with the C3 registry and everyone that received an email here was due to a technical error that had you down as an admin.

As a result my personal details are now listed on your forum for all the world to see and I receive the spam, junk and phising email you all are so fearful of. Can we delete the thread please and move on. Regards, Scott

for every honest person out there is someone who will take advantage through any means possible, a few years ago I tried to buy groceries to find my checking account had been drained over 2 grand by someone buying crap at iTunes. turned out my card had been phished and I don't know where or how, was told by the bank it probably happened at the airport by someone walking by with a mobile scanner that read my card from my wallet. as the op have said unknown emails are to be regarded as a scam until proven otherwise, just look at the people taken by the irs scammers who call demanding money yet the caller id show the call originated from the irs office, rule of thumb if you don't know the source don't trust it in any way.

http://www.c3registry.org/

Isnt the c3 registry its a redirect to what is appearing as a small craft beads site beads4love that may or may not have infections.

http://www.c3registry.com/ is what gets me to the corvette registry which my 69 is on.

Lately 99% of my spam is either Asian font which goes right to spam or "re" emails from actual people i vaguely know from their hacked or cloned accounts,

This corvette specific spam is intriguing, i wonder which what sold your info to the spammers....

Jeez! guys you're all missing the boat....I won the Nigerian lottery, $10,000,000! A REAL Nigerian prince told me so! I was so impressed! I'm sitting here waiting for the bank draft. I just had to give him all my personal information...boy that was easy!
I think I'm going to buy one each of all the Corvettes.....I'm so blessed to have a computer.

Happy T-give everyone.....engage brain before click.

Interesting the thread started in 2013 and people are still receiving the same emails?

I had no idea it was from 2013 i was too quick to reply without looking but the first modern reply above from 71rs im lost as your reasons have zero to due with the emails had .org the real registry is .com, so somewhere someone was shady,
And i sincerely hope the mods do not in this case delete this there is nothing paranoid about trying to help watch out for others,
