quick question about turn signal/hazard flashers 68'

on my 68' i have one flasher unit that plugs into the fuse box (for turn signals i presume) and a second flasher under right hand dash panel (for the four way hazard flashers i believe. anyway, my turn signals work fine, but hazards come on but won't blink.....seems like someone once told me that the second flasher under the dash is a different type than the one that goes in fuse panel...??? anyone know about this, i believe i have 2- #552's now...Rick

The flasher at the fuse box is for the four way hazzard flashers. The one under the passenger dash is for the turn signals.

you are correct, two different flashers. turn signal used a 536 which would stop flashing when a bulb was out.

so i should have a 536 at the fuse box for the hazards then?? thanks you guys...Rick

I thought that they were the same too, but ZIP lists two different ones. Lou.

I use the same one for the four way in the turn signal . even if one bulb burns out the rest keep flashing but then you need to check periododicoly. did I spell that rite?
