Wow…… I hope they have a production version of the Indy 500 Pace car for sale to the public!

Over 500 people attend that race. Over 10,000 watch it on TV. Good exposure

I will be there    Is the area within a couple mile radius of the track (where my motel room will be) relatively safe during Indy 500 week? I am wondering if walking my dog around in the evenings will be safe.

I knew it... I had a feeling this was gonna happen.:flag:

There had to be a reason why they were waiting so long to introduce the new Indy pace car... And with the introduction of the C7 it was bound to happen.

Take your AR-15 and you should be safe. :D

You don't think this guy on the end of a 6 foot leash will suffice?

Looks really good.

They should have added some cool graphics to the car and produced a Pace Car replica to be sold at dealerships. It could have been the first limited / special edition model for the C7.

Great color they picked.

I like the idea, but they'll sell all the 2014 Corvettes they can make without a special edition model to boost sales.

It wouldnt really be meant to boost sales (because the C7 wont need anything to boost sales right now),.. It would be something special to celebrate for GM, Chevrolet, Corvette and Indy.

Has Chevy ever had the Indy Pace Car that did not have a corresponding Pace Car Edition available? Maybe it is in the works as we speak.

Yeah, try closer to a 1/4 million people attending this race. And if the weather holds well, it will be nearlly sold out. Indiana Hoosiers are loyal to this race, and it's a really fun 4 day event

It least it will be something to talk this year about instead of Danica, Danica and Danica.

In the Indy 500, she doesn't wear a bikini. My problem is she could be running last and ABC would still have her onscreen 90% of the time.

Well I would think that the 2003 Pace car was really not a special Edition. They used the 50th Anniversary car and put the graphics on it. if you ordered a 50th Anniversary Edition you could paid the extra money and the graphics package was available, but it was not a true 500 Pace Car Edition as they had been in the past.

First off I am not what some people call a Danica fan, but I never understood all the people that became Danica haters. It was not her making the big deal of her in the Indy Car Series, it was the media.
