Has anyone ever seen or driven.....

...a dirty Vette? I just went through 74 pages of Vettes here and as an owner of Vettes since 1979, I just fell in love with my C5 again. It has never been dirty. Are we obsessed???

If a Corvette doesn't get dirty, you aren't driving it right.

That's clean. OCD :)

91LSMAN 05-10-2013 07:51 PM

I've seen and driven them. They don't melt.

I've had mine in enough snow that I lost traction when I went into the turn lane and the tires started spinning. (Wouldn't do that with my current tires)

Right now, it's very clean though. :D

As mine is my DD (and black), it spends more time in need of a good cleaning than it does enjoying one!! :D

It does, however, cause me intense personal anguish!!!!! Therefore, I have to go for a good spirited drive to alieve the anguish. Then I get out of the car and look at it and the whole cycle starts all over again!!!!! It's just a viscious circle!!!!!

It's a good thing that I am a teacher and have my summers free for all that driving!!!!!

I hope you don't teach spelling.

Vetteman Jack 05-10-2013 08:03 PM

Mine has been dirty many times - a little detailing and good as new again.

DSTURBD 05-10-2013 08:04 PM

No, I don't, but what did I mis-spell?

I do however, teach business ethics, integrity, tolerance, etc., etc. :D

DSTURBD

Ahhhhh...now I see it. Vicious as opposed to viscious!!! Dang that miscreant left ring finger!!!!!! It'll betray a man every time!!!!! First it gets you married, then it gets you broke!!! Then, when you give up on those two, it puts crap in there you never intended to put there!! Or is that "their" or maybe "they're"?!?!? Oh hell, I give up!! :D :D :D :D

I'm nowhere near OCD as the majority of you guys seem to be! Having a darker color paint doesn't help either. That said, I try to clean it regularly but will often cheat by using the Cali duster to get some rain water spots off...:hide:

Silverback51 05-10-2013 09:21 PM

Daily driver here in the Pacific Northwest.

It's dirty 9+ months of the year.
