Horn on C5 went off and I could not get it to turn off
 

At 2 AM, the horn on my 04 vette went off. The hoen was on solid. I grabbed my keys and locked and unlocked the car. I started and then turned off the car. I started it again and put it in gear and then turned if off. The horn would not go off. I could determine which fuse was for the horn, so I just unhooked the battery. Any ideas on what might be happening? It is now 2:30 AM, so I have not tryed to rehook up the battery to see if it has fixed itself. I did smell some electical burning after unhooking the battery.

Wow. That was an easy fix. I am not one that works on my car too often, but this was really straight forward. I watch a few different youtube videos which showed it step by step. C and S Corvettes had the best video of the ones I watched. It only took about 2 hours and I was taking my time. This saved me about a $1000 bucks based on what I was told the dealer would charge.
