Corvette check list

I have been looking at C2 coupes to fill a hole in my garage.
Every time I come home from looking I remember something I should have looked at.
So I came up with a check list. I have it in excel with room on the right to write in comments.
Tell me what you think and anything I missed.
If anyone wants a copy in excel PM me.
Joe

you could add date codes for all the engine components, along with glass dates. also if documentation is important to you. that can be added

I might add pulling dip sticks, and oil, rad and m/c caps for a look see. This will give u an idea of how the car was cared for.

Two things I wished I knew when I bought my '66; was that although they looked new, the tires were 14 years old and the battery nearly seven.

Thanks for the suggestions. I made a few changes.

Not really that important to me. I am looking for a nice driver. There is room to add that info.

Tires was on the list but with wheels. I separated them.
I added battery.

One last important thing I'd add would be to drive the car at highway speed.

By the time you check out everything on your check list the car will be out of warrenty.

Although I'm not in the market for another car, the check list is great idea. Thanks for the post.

I'm looking for a Chevelle. I took your list and tweaked it a bit. Thanks for sharing

Can't help you on a 70 SS. All I know is 69 to 72 cars are full of clones. Read up on Chevelle.com and good luck

...send in the clones. yep, already there. Certainly no expert but at least I know some questions ask and things to check. If I find one that's a maybe I'll ask the Chevelle forum for a look see (like I would do here).

thanks.

Also watch out for rust. Even know they make every body panel piece it's just a lot of time and money to replace
