Original Owner?
Miles on the build?

What's next? :)

uwilluz 07-02-2013 12:14 PM

I bought the car with about 1500 miles on it....it was a Lingenfelter 616 car from Mobile, AL. Build has about 4,000 miles on it and runs like a top.

May wait on the 2014 Z's or possibly do a pro touring '69 camaro w/ TT LS7

Haha, u know ur shops! But u get what u pay for, and this car is evidence of that for sure....

this car is a twin to my tt car that just got totaled by a lady who didn't understand how a stop sign worked.

I had the rsi triple in mine as well.

Do you run into pump wine and pump cavitation issues due to fuel heat? I set my rsi system up custom, and had 2 pumps on, and the third was on a separate switch.

Just curious if anyone had to troubleshoot all the problems I did with their fuel system. When did you put the rsi system in? Date?

Thanks, Brandon

irun4cops 07-04-2013 01:21 PM

ps, how have you not upgraded the brakes? ;)

irun4cops 07-04-2013 01:38 PM

can you post up the power graph also? Id like to see how the turbos behave.

the RSI system is abt a year old and have never had a cavatation problem with it, and I've been on 4-6 hour trips each way. Been very pleased with the triple pump set up.

The factory brakes do pretty well, but I don't stretch the car out on many top end runs anyway. I can say it's never nosed over tho, not even in 6th.....but it still seems to stop very well :)

I don't have a dyno graph pic but will try to get one to post up. The turbos really seem to start making boost around 3500 rpm and just continue to pull hard. I actually have some 67mm dbb billet wheel turbos I intended on using bc I figured they'd be more efficient but these were laying around so we stuck em on in the mean time....they worked so well we jus didn't take em off

irun4cops 07-04-2013 03:35 PM

That's my worry that I would have to go with different turbos. I was running garret gt30s on my other car I think and it kept making more power to 7000rpm, but they spooled almost instantly.

uwilluz 07-04-2013 03:53 PM

car is all u can handle with the drag radials on jus the springs, much more on the street would make it a pedal fest. there's no lack of power with this set up by any means. I've never even turned on the co2 and boost controller on the street, no need really.

irun4cops 07-04-2013 07:40 PM

guess id have to come check it out. You are in alabama right?

uwilluz 07-04-2013 08:17 PM

yes....north Alabama

Tonylmiller 07-04-2013 10:20 PM

Are you going to be around tomorrow, if by some miracle it doesn't rain?

uwilluz 07-04-2013 10:46 PM

I should be in the area most of the day....
