For Artic White Lovers (a new take on the wheel debate)
 

Well, I am trying to decide whether to change my order from VY / 3LT Black

to

Artic White / 3LT Red.

I came across this picture last night, and thought I'd toss it in the debate pot for those that argue for black vs chrome rims.

What'cha think? :thumbs:

I like it better than black, but the whole "ricer" vibe is pretty strong with these multi-colored wheels. I live on the Jersey Shore and every week-end we are inundated by these kids in their "ricers" and they tend to have these fluorescent wheels so I may be jaundiced
in my opinion. To me they are "low rent"

I'm glad I get to answer early so I don't have to be accused this afternoon of piling on. It looks hideous.

Doesn't look good on white, maybe a black body with a red interior would go better. If you are going to get white the black wheels are hot IMO.

Yesterday, while out cruising, I saw some Kid driving around in some type of "import". Blue body, green wheels. and yellow wing. :ack: Come on its a Vette. Red wheels? My greatest fear with the C7 is that some "creative" people will come up with some ugly color combo/accessories in the name of individuality. :rolleyes: And, cheapen the brand/image. :yesnod:

Looks mmmmmmm, like a Japanese drift car, or a NSX...id rather go with blacked out rims if im going with the artic white

Forget the picture....... But I am right with you on the black vrs white choice. I was down to 4 colors.... NRB, red, white or black. I have NRB now so scratched that. Had red and my 16 will be red. Wife decided on white so that will be it. White with red interior. So I've gone red, blue and now white. Will go red in 16....... pattern works for me.

Wheels....... Z51 "stock" wheels work for me.

I like red wheels on a white C6Z, but on the C7 it's too attention grabbing and fights with the beautiful form. I'd go for black ones personally

Go with black. Or brushed steel. (if you feel the need for bling)

No fancy colours. No chrome. No polished metal.

And no black spoiler. No black mirrors. They all look cheap and/or ricey.

Im going Arctic White with chrome wheels.

Black wheels look good, but only when not in motion.

If you go black wheels, break it up with a chrome or polished lip or something.

Brushed rims would look nice too.
