Meth Kit Efficiency?

I have a brand X meth kit currently, I know it's inferior to Alky Control. But here is my question.

What shows you guys that tune, make great power, or just have the experience to know when you either need a dual nozzle kit, or to change from 1-10# & 1-15# nozzle to larger pills?

Do you look at IAT's? Currently ambient temp ranges 100-105* and when meth kicks in my IAT's will drop to 70* and stay until the pull is finished. I'm getting ready to turn the car up and it has been a question I'm having trouble finding in threads.

Is it based off power? Cylinder heat? Boost?

Please advise as I want to make sure the car is ready for its new tune.

Good question.

Here's one way to look at it:

Its like this. You run a single nozzle kit.. once your cranked wide open on the knob on a single you go to a twin. And go from there.. if you have to crank the knob to 8.. you really need 3 nozzles.

My 348 on 93 octane and a 4788 turbo makes easy 1100 rwhp and my knob is at 6.5 on twin 15's.

And here's some light reading.

There are many things that factor into the decision on whether to add more meth. Based on the temperature drop you are seeing, it sounds like you're currently spraying an acceptable amount. You haven't mentioned just how much you are planning to turn it up or your current combination.

402 w/etp 240 heads. YSi w/ 3" pulley hopefully 20ish psi.

I don't know exactly what it is I'm making now, but last dyno pull heat soaked yielded 648. That's the only pull I have to go off of. The car traps 140 of that helps. Hoping the YSi and 3.0" pulley help me gain another 7-10mph. I'm not really after dyno numbers as much as on track results.

i think i need a dual nozzel, on a 95 degree day my temps will be in the 115's just driving around and when the meth/boost kicks in they drop to about 90 and stay there. if they are supposed to hit in the 70's then i am gonna have to add another nozzle
