broken glove compartment lock

Is the replacement of the $70 glove lock covered under a GMPP EXTENDED WARRANTY?

Should be but why not ask them?

They, the dealer, wants me to pay the $70. I think it should be covered.

lol, yea,I believe the dealer might be an idiot.. Call GMPP yourself and see what they say.Don't trust your dealer when it comes to warranty stuff. I don't know why they wouldn't cover it though. It would have been covered under the factory warranty for sure.

GMPP Extended may well not cover something like that?

Do you have your policy to review?

The part is not real expensive. I think I paid something like $12-$15 for it and it is an easy fix. There is a video on YouTube.

If you have the bumper to bumper plan then it is covered. That latch is not a wear item, so if the dealer is telling you it is not covered its because he is double dipping.

He is charging you then behind your back he is submitting the claim to get paid.

Does GMPP have $100 deductible?
