How old is everyone around here?

Year long lurker who finally decided to register.

Curious to know what's everyones age range because I seem to be the only 28 year old here who can't afford a c7... :cry:cry:cry

One day gentlemen, One day! Until then I'll will use you folks as inspiration :)

VETJAZZ 08-20-2013 01:11 AM

Don't fret. Finding the money is a matter of rearranging priorities and will power.

For me, I found a way to market and earn on my skills. I'm 30 years old.

Dude, I couldn't afford a Vette when I was 28! Your goals are lofty and that's how you accomplish lofty things. I'm 54. (The new 34).

18 here! Currently own a 2012 Camaro and will be buying a C7 next spring. It would probably be smarter to save my money but I decided to "invest" it instead. You only live once!

I'm 70, but I'm still driving my Riverside Red 64 Convertible. It's still got the original 327/365 motor in it, the 4 speed close ratio transmission, and it still goes like hell for a car that's pushing 50. "The Redheaded Mistress" will be 50 on April 4th next year.
I figure after 50 years, I'd spring for a new one. Who knows, maybe in another 50 years, I'll spring for another new one.

I'm 64 today.I bought my first vette when I was 20 and my C7 will be #6

I'm 38 and feel 48, bucking the trend!

mrdougman 08-20-2013 01:58 AM

48. c7 will be my fifth Corvette

vincent_esq 08-20-2013 02:16 AM

46 years old. My first vette was a 89 C4. Almost got the C5 in 1997, but got an NSX instead. Almost got the C6, in 2004, but got the SRT. This time, I'm serious. I'm getting the C7.

leshelt 08-20-2013 02:23 AM

59, still have three (78, 87 Z51, 03 Z06), waiting for the C7 Z06 (LT 88) or whatever the call it . :woohoo:

I'm moderately seasoned, but far from fossilized.

No offense taken. I never feel like I'm getting older until I talk to some of my friends in their mid-20s.

VRMMMM 08-20-2013 02:58 AM

45, and my 20s sucked, had a lot of fun in my 30s, and so far my 40s are the best. Looking forward to my 50s.

Drake Heminger 08-20-2013 03:34 AM

I'm 24 and current status 3300

Zurbo 08-20-2013 04:46 AM

42 here.

bobterryfic 08-20-2013 05:58 AM

Never could afford a 'vette as a young stud within my priorities. The C7 will be my 3rd and will be 69 or close by the time it arrives. An M7 CRT coupe w/Kalahari is my current plan.

Jefff1 08-20-2013 06:21 AM

 58 here and never owned a Vette or a real sports car.....bought a new Fiat Abarth this past winter so I'm getting closer...plenty of motorcycles and snowmobiles though...Youngest daughter gets married in 18 days so then it will time for old dad to plan his Vette acquisition.

Mrs. Lucky and I are going to the Carlisle Corvette show this weekend to do some more homework....considering a late model GS or new C7
