A few interior photos

I haven't seen a lot posted along these lines so I thought I'd share a few photos of the cup holder, the aux. power adapter, the hidden storage compartment and the center console and media slots. I have my iPhone in a couple of the photos as a frame of reference for size. This is an iPhone 5 in an Otterbox case. A few photos at the bottom of the other controls on the dash and a few of the rear compartment, the sub enclosure and the aux. plug for a trickle charger.

Just something new to look at while we wait for our cars to be built.

In case someone didn't know this, the cup holder center divider is removable and it turns the two cup holders in to one long slot perfect for sunglasses.

Wow - great stuff.

I saw somehwere that the rear 12v plug is where the CTEK battery tender gets plugged in. Very well thought out interior.

H101 09-03-2013 04:44 PM

Thanks.... what is the "Off" switch next to hatch open switch?

That is correct. It is for the tender.

As per page 2-18 in the owners manual:

"Intrusion and Inclination
Sensors Disable Switch:

It is recommended that the intrusion
and inclination sensors be
deactivated if pets are left in the
vehicle or the vehicle is being
transported.
With the vehicle turned off, press d
on the right side of the hatch
release button. The indicator light
will come on momentarily, indicating
that these sensors have been
disabled for the next alarm system
arming cycle."

It is the Intrusion and Inclinations Sensor Disable Switch. Section 2-17 in the Owners Manual.

The uplevel (2LT/3LT) security system has a motion sensing feature for "Intrusion Detection". That turns off the sensor - for example, if you leave a pet in the vehicle, you don't want it setting off the alarm if fido moves...LOL.

aerocombatpilot 09-03-2013 05:22 PM

Is this a 2 or 3LT?

RickDI 09-03-2013 05:25 PM

Thanks! There are really nice high quality photos!

Is that an LED light in the compartment behind the screen?

I think you might be seeing the USB port for connecting and charging your phone.

Hi Paul. Great detailed photos. Thank you for posting!

Can you please give us a little more detail on the Intrusion Detection option that comes with the 2LT/3LT? Thanks in advance.

The big question is - do the airbag warning stickers come off easily? :D

Thanks,

Brian

Does the 1LT have the same closed loop carpeting? It looks excellent in the photos. Thanks.

I don't know the mechanics of the system but the long and short is that if you leave the car locked say with a window lowered or the roof panel off and someone without the fob were to reach into the cabin area it will sound the alarm.

The photos make me think you must leave the trunk open, or run the wire out through one of the doors/windows, when using the battery maintainer. Is that correct?

The recommended method is going to be to leave the hatch/trunk lid open and resting on the latch.

If you have enough cord, you could leave the window cracked open and run it out through the front.
