What will your first mod be?

Just curious what your first mod will be. I think i'm going to paint my stripes on. How bout you guys?

Here's what I will do in the 1st week:
1. remove stingrays on side
2. black out the Corvette letters on the back
3. lower per the lowering bolts
4. polish and seal the paint - adams and blackfire stuff
5. Tint 20% with solar guard

Wider tires

sotirisf 09-17-2013 11:16 PM

to rip out the direct injection and put in a double barreled carburetor.

.... ahhh just messing with everyone.
I'm waiting to see my car first and then decide what if anything interior or exterior- after I get to see what GM and Tadge settled on.

WildVettes 09-17-2013 11:51 PM

I got my first mod over a year ago.

7 Gears Plate

Next will be limo tint and then a Vararam.

Gr8ful 09-17-2013 11:59 PM

1. Tint / spray on clear bra
2. CAGS. Defeat
3. Paint calipers
4 Weathertec. Mats
5 Wax

mpuzach 09-18-2013 12:32 AM

Probably just Lloyds Mats and ClearBra. There's really nothing else the car needs IMO.

MarkRx 09-18-2013 01:24 AM

gas

MeanDean43 09-18-2013 07:51 AM

I already bought my 1st mod, an ESCORT RADAR DETECTOR. I plan on taking it with me and hooking it up before I pull out of the dealers lot. :woohoo:

Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires, if you consider tires a mod.

I moved up to 3400 even with a CF roof! Any leads on where to get the CAGS Defeat?
Been debating what wax to use. What is your choice?

Hennessey HPE600 upgrade plus long tube headers. Already discussing with them scheduling and performance expectations.

Larry/car 09-18-2013 09:03 AM

CAGS inoperable. I see where people are considering lowering the suspension, has anyone measured the actual ride height? I saw one post where the front air dam is already down as to scrape at the smallest dip in the road, let alone driveway entrances.

Snakiller 09-18-2013 09:15 AM

CAGS defeat here, too. Not sure I'll do anything else with this one, tho.

ATC 09-18-2013 09:18 AM

Anyone heard of plans for a rear package shelf like the C6?

VatorMan 09-18-2013 09:28 AM

Clear bra and either build or buy a harness bar and find some way to modify my Carvaggio race seats to accept the C7 electrical plug.

BTW- Does anyone know if the current TPMS sensors are the same as 2010 up C6 ?

Mike Mercury 09-18-2013 09:39 AM

I'm surprised that no one is going with the:

* performance hood seal

or

*performance floor mats

:)

Two Mods are all I'm planning on for this car,

Valentine1

And a trip to Spring Mountain, that will make the car faster then about anything I can think of.
