Part number for carbon flash stinger stripe
 

Does anyone have a part number for the stinger stripe? My car is supposed to be at dealer shortly and really would like to have it installed before delivery. The parts department cannot find the number and just said it is a 8 digit number. Not the 3 letter code used when you order the car...

I've been trying to find that number also. I didn't like the look of the black carbon flash spoiler, but I do like the black mirrors and the hood stripe. I may just have the hood stripe painted instead of the "stick on". I painted the rally stripes on my Camaro; much better that the vinyl application.

However, instead of painting my mirrors, I may just order new black ones. Either way, I'm waiting for part numbers.

For the Carbon Flash Metallic Stinger Stripe it should be 23156109.

Make sure your dealer verifies this. There are two part numbers, one for the discrete stripe and one for the stripe as part of a package.

Thank you Paul. May I ask you for one more? Can you find the part number for the painted Carbon Flash Black Mirrors? The dealers don't have these #s yet.

Is the carbon flash stinger stripe available to order yet from dealers yet since last post?

I posted a question earlier today about getting someone to get me the measurements for the hood stripe area.....if someone can get me the measurements before I get them myself I will cut you a free stripe in whatever color you want......I already have like 8 orders for stripes for people waiting to pick up their cars and I'd like to have them pre cut and ready for when they take delivery.

Sean what are you using for material - gloss 3M 1080 vinyl?..I will buy one from you one you have the dimensions, don't have my car yet...

I can use 1080 vinyl, I usually use Avery HP or Oracal 951. 2 of the preorders I have are for 3M 1080 black carbon fiber.

Wow....that would be absolutely awesome. I mean honestly that would be above and beyond. My car was born on Friday #2297.....I have no idea what the dimentions are. I have not even seen C7 in real life. Please sign me up for whatever is closest match to Carbon Flash Metallic. The local dealer here is supposed to get 2 in by the end of this week and I may just end up having to get the measurements myself. What color is the Carbon Flash? Is it like a metallic black?? If thats what it is, the 3M 1080 wrap material has a really nice metallic black.

So far, the parts department can't seem to pull anything up with that part number, maybe it's just too new? Not sure what's up cause I want to order that stripe, I was in the first consensus and I couldn't order the stripe way back then, even though I still don't have the car lol. Any thoughts as to why it isn't showing up in the system?

check with Gene Culley from gm partshouse he has been able to locate some lpo part #'s for me already for 2014 Corvette...If its available he will have it for you quick!

Hey Sean.....yes the Carbon Flash is like a metallic black so the 3M 1080 would probably be perfect. It's the exact same black that is used on all of the black air vents all over the car.

Do you know yet how much the stripe will be ? I am VERY much interested in buying one. I think the GM variety is like $500 but they say it's supposedly vinyl that is actually painted then clearcoated to give it a "carbon flash" (metallic) look.
