Best sounding exhaust for my 2013 Z06..

I'm ready to put a louder exhaust on my Z06. I want something loud that sounds good. I'm going to put a Edelbrock supercharger on in a month or so. I want something that will work well with it also. I'm not going to be doing headers though. I want to have warranty from Edelbrock and what ever would be left from GM. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

depends on how loud you want it..... if you want it to sound like you have headers and a nasty sound then you cant beat the billy boats

B&B Fusions get my vote, loud when you want and quiet when you want:rock:

Bullets or Xtreme.

Might want to look into that warranty thing. If you supercharge it, you will need to tune it, if you tune it, it will void your GM warranty.

Best sounding exhaust is the stock one with muffler mod and its the cheapest.

Good luck!

Just put a borla stinger set up on my coupe and I love it! Nothing but compliments on how good it sounds.

No need to do the muffler mod on a 2013 Z06. The factory made the switch a couple years prior.

Just put headers on my base model LS2. Already had B&B Bullets, but headers really woke them up. Together, they are the cause for my sudden drop in fuel economy. They cause me to downshift when I really don't need to :steering:
But all in all, it is a fantastic sounding exhaust and I would recommend it to anyone. Even the older folks... They can turn their hearing aids off.

If you want to keep your dual mode exhaust, there are only two options. The most expensive is the Akrapovic and the Billy Boat isn't that far behind. Southern Car Parts has some of the best prices I have found.

I have Borla ATAK on my 427 convertible. Great sound.

Best sound for the Z06 is Akrapovic....nothing else like it.

I vote for akrapovic

Tastes vary, but I prefer Corsa sport or Extreme or, for something that will set off car alarms and scare children, SLP Loudmouth 1.

They don't make Corsa Extremes or SLP loudmouths for the Z06...probably for good reason.

I have kooks long tubes with no cats and B&B bullets. The car is ridiculously loud in my GS. If you are looking for loud this is the route I would go or just go with borla type s for healthy sound with headers. I agree with the above posts throw some headers on there and you will be good to go with your Z06 mufflers.

Stand behind my corsas when I rev it to five grand your ears will hurt. Already had a few victims :yesnod:

LFZ 09-27-2013 03:29 PM

I'm sorry, but the stock Z06 mufflers (even the redesigned version) sound like ass compared to any quality aftermarket system out there...and they look better too.

I'm going with Edelbrock because of their warranty. If you use their tune they warranty the things that GM won't. I know I could get more power out of it with a custom tune but I really don't think I need any more power than what comes with it. Really anymore power and all I would do is keep putting tires on it.. I did that with my 2011 Camaro SS with 684 RWHP...
