The stingray emblem is the new chicklet

That emblem looks terrible, especially on black cars. Can that wart be removed like a chicklet? I hope they didn't drill holes for it.

By they way, I like the stingray name, I just don't like the new chicklet.

Yeah it's just double side taped on. A little heat, floss, and adhesive removal should take them right off.

For those wondering they are plastic and made in China :)

Um....I like it :hide:

I use fishing line with good results to remove dealer tags from all of my vehicles. I like the Stingray badge. Just my .02.

:iagree:

The thing I cant believe that made it was the Corvette script on the back. IMHO it would have looked much better low and on the right like they did with the C6.

I love the emblem

Is that surprising? 51K car base with all of the new upgrades, they had to cut costs somewhere..

Frankie2blue 10-04-2013 10:50 AM

I suppose most will leave them on but I would pull mine off along with the letters on the back. Never liked that Stingray thing, letters or the chrome strip in front from the very first time I saw it. Love the car though, so that's a pretty minor gripe that can easily be corrected.

Tonylmiller 10-06-2013 06:03 PM

I see some are removing them and I think it looks much better.

Patriot77 10-06-2013 06:05 PM

I like it myself.

Lots of people do.

BlueOx 10-06-2013 06:32 PM

I certainly wouldn't equate it to the GM chicklet. I'd be far more likely to leave the Stingray logo on.

13brv3 10-06-2013 06:37 PM

Stuck on the side like that, it seems more like a Remora :D

Rusty (mine would be removed)

Slappy3243 10-06-2013 06:39 PM

I think it looks fine. I will be leaving them on. I couldn't care less if others don't like it.

Tonylmiller 10-06-2013 07:36 PM

Obviously these are my own opinions. You can decorate your own car any way you want!

I just think it looks like a wart on the side of the car. :D

We get it. You've said It trice on this thread. Do what you want with yours if you get one.

I like the Stingrays on the side. Never take them off of the car. I would rather remove the chrome strip on the front.

Yeah, and they save the high tech stuff for Mexico. :willy:
