Which car would you buy a new C7 say for $70k or a used ZR-1 for $70k
Lets see where this topic leads. |

Agreed... I know a turbo kit/tune/support mods will easily surpassed the performance of the stock C6 ZR1. C7 is a better car all around stock vs stock but just not as quick as the ZR1. Now if the ZR1 has aftermarket interior and widebody then it's a whole new ball game.

[QUOTE=rcallen484;1585210683]With all due respect, here is a stock ZR1. Notice anything about width?
I was referring to an aftermarket widebody like this one.http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y257/bluert/20.jpg |

C7 without a doubt. :yesnod:
At the end of the day, the ZR1 is just another obsolete C6...:hide: |

come on guys, the c7 is the best corvette up to date in every aspect... you want more power to match a zr1, mod the engine...
I believe linfelter (dont know the real spelling) already got 502whp so with 15% your looking at almost 580 hp already.. its just a matter of time before they get more than 638 hp to beat the ZR1... :D plus, the C6 is ugly!! :hide: |
+1 ZR1... the C7 will be seeing the better back end :) Particularly now with z51/MR constraints.
|
In 1968, would you have taken the sexy new 1968 Corvette with its cool new interior and sexy new body with the base 350 engine.....Or, would you have chosen the outdated, old 1967 L88 427?
|
I sold my 2011 ZR1 to buy the C7. I did it for looks and upgraded interior, not for power. The ZR1 was easy to drive and could smoke the tires at 60 mph. the C7 can't touch that kind of power if that's what you're after. Much lower production as well so maybe the depreciation will slow and pricing on the ZR's will stablize.
