2nd time out, new PB
 

Hey everyone,

Went out to the track this past Sunday and finally hit 10s with a new PB. Previous best was 11.4. I since changed a couple things up and I am pleased with the results.

Main mods are TFS 215 58cc, VRX5, Fast 102/102, and a 102 plate kit(150shot). Stock bottom end car. Tire setup was 16" CCW drag pack on a 26" MT et street Bias Ply rear tire. Really need to work on my launch apparently but overall happy with the results. Best part of it was nothing broke and I drove the car home right after the 10sec pass.:D

FWIW, I hit 10.87@124 in my stick car with a 1.54 60'. So, you definitely have a lot left in there.

especially if he can get that 60' down to where it should be.

Thanks guys, I was pretty stoked when I seen the time and mph. I hope theres enough in my car for a low 10sec pass.

@capthuff. that must of been one hell of a run to hit 10.8 trapping 124. Awesome 60ft. I hope to get there but itll probably take me awhile to get down to a 1.5

Better 60' with seat time

Z0qwik congrats on the times! I am in the same boat with the 60ft times. Maybe we can link up at the track one day.I plan to go on Sunday. I heard there was quite a few vettes there last week.

There was about 8vettes running sunday. 4 of the 8 all ran 10.8s so we were representing well. I plan to run in the 6spd shootout at dragging rights in a couple weeks so that will be the next time I run at the track. Hope your liking the new tranny/clutch.

So far the tranny and clutch feels great! I had a friend out there that told me it was a lot of vettes and they were running really good. I have black 97 with a procharger. My best so far is 11.15. So we will see if I can get down any lower.
