Did the tick clutch master solve your problems?
 

I am looking for some input on if you originally had high rpm/shifting issues with your stock clutch master cylinder,switched over to the Tick clutch master cylinder and if so solved your shifting issues?Please chime in,lets find out if overall this was beneficial for are c5's. Your views would be greatly appreciated
I unfortunately still have a pedal that goes half way down to the floor with high rpm upshifts........ Normal shifting is fine though.

I had the problem in my Fbody and it solved it. I was such a believer I bought the tick, clutch , and new slave a few days before getting my vette and installed the day I got car. Haven't had the problem occasionally have to bleed it so get the speed bleeder.

Adjustment is timely but essential.

But YES, IT WORKS.

The way I tested my clutch was a simple test doing the following:

In an empty parking lot, press and hold in your clutch pedal to the floor for approximately 30 seconds.

Slowly bring your RPMs up to 6500 and hold for at least 10 seconds.

Does your car begin to move? If YES, your clutch is not disengaging fully. The TICK Adjustable Master Cylinder cured that for me by allowing greater fluid pressure/flow.

Once installed, I moved the adjustable rod furthest out and worked my way in two turns at a time until those high RPM shift issues were gone.

After my A&A Supercharger install I have experienced clutch pedal fade under WOT blasts.

It's also adjustable and holds 3 times the fluid of the stock master.
I'll be putting it in on thursday.

I wouldn't be brave enough to do this under no load.
Spun the bearings once reving it to 5000 rpm in neutral on a 68 Firebird 400 M4 Vert :rofl:

Yes well where there's money there's competition.
The ad is not passing the master off as a Ticks.
Camarohawk has a 99.3% ebay rating on 20,000 sales.
Years ago I bought a new old school Rockford 500a2 from a grey market reseller
for 350.00 instead of 500.00 from an authorized seller and the no warranty cry sounds familiar.
Ironically it would be better to say the product is so good there are
no warranty claims to worry about but then why pay more is the conclusion there.
The 500a2 still works fine 12 years later and I'm using it in my Vette right now
to power a dual coil 700 watt sub.
Camarohawk gives you a lifetime warranty (not your life though but the "life" of the part which is IMO how long you own the car or maybe 10 years)
In this case CamaroHawk is only 5.00 less than Ticks.
Ticks doesn't advertise on ebay and from what I see they get the base master from a manufacturer and add a few simple things.
Of course it's enraging if someone swipes your idea and there's not much you can do about it :sadangel:

I've had my car for 4 months now and only know about Ticks from this thread.
We will see how well the Camarohawk master works.
I'm pretty confident it will be fine.
