Top 10 Worst Corvettes
|
Whew....no '74's on the list
|
This 10 Worst popped up back in October. We all booed and hissed at that time.
 |
The 82 collectors edition was a beautiful car. I would loose the graphics though. But to say that by that time the c-3 overstayedit welcome by 5 years is stupid since the last few years saw more vetted sold than ever.:crazy2:
|
Wow that was brutal. Somehow the '81 escaped being criticized!
|
No 73 taking first place? (and second and third...)
|
I'm surprised they didn't beat on the 68-69 427/435's. Most of them took a bunch of work to keep them running like they should- spark plugs, carb problems, won't idle and on and on. The L-89's would backfire on a cold start and the center carb power valve was toast. And you have to pull all 3 to get the center.
|
Well in my opinion, edmunds is absolutely the worst source for used car pricing and information. So don't read too much into the article.
|
To paraphrase the old fishing saying . . . The worst day driving a Corvette is better than the best day driving anything else.

 I read this awhile back. Two things struck me: 1. The author was not only full of himself, trying to out-do each paragraph with more florid vitriol than the previous, but............ 2. ..........the author was also full of s**t. Any more words than these lends more attention to that hit piece than it deserves.:( Dan G> |

Whew yea that was real close, the 80 and 82 not so lucky.
So, I wonder what kept the 81 of the list????? |
That's like picking the 10 ugliest playboy playmates from the past 15 years.... yes there will be winners and losers, but they are all so far ahead of the rest of the competition who really gives a crap.
And we all know C3's are the prettiest of all the Vettes :yesnod: |

My ride is number 1.

The 75 is #1 on the list. Not sure why there is no love for the 75.
It has some good features that were later deleted. True cowl induction with open air cleaner. Still had the cool aluminum three spoke steering wheel. Chrome shielding around distributer. Sure power was down but a cam change and dual exhaust will do wonders. Then you still have the cool features that some of the earlier cars had. |
Umm! Just saw a mid 70's rubber bumper Corvette sell at auction for 17k! My rubber bumper gets the  all the time...
