gauges
I have a 74 and I am looking for new gauges that would fit in the bezels without any fab work. I think the originals are boring. Lookup ng for something in white that will pop in you know what I mean.

Look at autometer. Z series and sport comp 2 are popular replacements. Seeing them in person I lean towards the Z series.

Today, I removed all the gauges form mine and put on these overlays from White Gauges.

Good thing I took the pics, just noticed I forgot to put the needle back on the speedo! They will customize the overlays to whatever you want and the color of your choice. Since i updated from the clock to the oil temp gauge and from the ammeter to the volt meter, the different year designs didn't match, so this was an easy solution. So far I like the yellow color, haven't seen it with the dash lights on yet.

I went the opposite way: Stayed stock (black face) and had them design the new voltmeter to the old style face. They can also modify your redline.

Yah, my redline is a little modified too!

I called a company about overlays and they told me the 1974 has raised lettering and they said that it might not match.
