AEM’s Boost Dependent PN30-3300 Water/Methanol Injection kit Water/methanol injection for gas engines is a proven means for effectively reducing engine inlet air temperatures and suppressing harmful detonation on forced induction and high performance naturally aspirated race engines. This allows racers to reliably increase boost and advance ignition timing—without using high-octane racing fuel—for power gains of up to 20%. For more in depth info and specs click link. http://www.saccitycorvette.com/AEMMethInjectionkits.html only $429.95 AEM’s Naturally Aspirated (N/A) PN30-3350 Water/Methanol Injection. Good for 5-10% HP increase on N/A engines. http://www.saccitycorvette.com/AEMMethInjectionkitsNA.html only $429.95 |
We have them for N/A also!

A Meth kit will also clean the carbon off the intake valves and pistons.

How do they work on N/A motor's?

Hi MMA,
Looks like 30-50 rwhp. Here is a link to some good info and guys telling the power they made. We are going to put one on our C5Z 444ci n/a in the near future. http://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-ind...ease-meth.html |
Thanks

Are there fittings included in the kit to be able to connect the pump the the OEM W/W reservoir instead of the AEM container?

The kit comes with everything you need to install it using their reservoir. You may need a fitting to adapt to you washer reservoir. I'm pretty sure someone here on the forum would know, or google it. Thanks Christian |
Hi Everyone!
We installed the Meth kit on our Turbocharged Camaro. Here are some pictures. We will be doing one on our N/A Zo6 soon. http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...ps96fa0c39.jpg http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1537eca6.jpg http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...pscfffdb2c.jpg Thanks Christian |
Did you know: The name "Corvette" was borrowed from a line of small, fast navy ships used in World War II.
|
The first generation Corvette was introduced late in the 1953 model year. Originally designed as a show car for the 1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show, it generated enough interest to induce GM to make a production version to sell to the public. First production was on June 30, 1953.:yesnod:
|
The second generation (C2) Corvette, which introduced Sting Ray to the model, continued with fiberglass body panels, and overall, was smaller than the first generation. The C2 was later referred to as mid-years.[19] The car was designed by Larry Shinoda with major inspiration from a previous concept design called the "Q Corvette," which was created by Peter Brock and Chuck Pohlmann under the styling direction of Bill Mitchell. :yesnod:

AEM’s Water/Methanol Injection Filter can filter particulates as small as 40 microns. It protects the working parts of the water/methanol system and the engine from particulates in the water/methanol mixture when installed in-line before the water/methanol pump, and can be used on virtually any water/methanol injection system using ¼” OD tubing.
|
Both the power and ground wires for the pump are included in the harness which simplifies the wiring process and eliminates any chance of the pump accidentally activating from a short in the system.:D
|
AEM’s engineers spent extensive time developing the controller’s flow control strategy for a more linear flow output delivery.

Here is the link to AEM instructions. On page 14 is a chart for picking the jets you would need. http://aemelectronics.com/files/inst...Controller.pdf Thank you, Christian |

Not sure about intake valves but the pistons and combustion chambers will be clean.
I don't think the intake will be bad since fuel not spraying on them. Christian |
