just got back from Daytona

24 hr Rolex. Lots of fun. Wife enjoyed it as well. Saw the new Z06 with the Z07 package in the new gray color. It was next to a C7R at the Corvette display. Saw the corvette and Porsche corrals there on the infield. Saw the #3 corvette(Magnusson, Garcia, Briscoe) being worked on in the garage at 1030p at night due to overheating issues. Had rear rotors replaced as well (24 hr race). The teams had between 28-36 sets of tires allocated to them for the race.
Had hospitality tent passes (open 24/7) where all the teams, drivers, sponsors, support staff ate. Garage passes made it interesting as well. We were there in support of Team Seattle ; 911 GT Daytona in support of Children's hospital in Seattle. I think they raised close to $300 a lap. Came in 15th in class (of 29 entries in GTD) C7R pictures in garage are pre -race; Friday. mandatory night practice Thurs night. |

That's awesome! Next year Daytona for sure. I just purchased my tickets to long beach for the LBGP. It will be my second year attending. Last year was a blast. Excited for this year again. And F1 in Texas!
