Updated Iphone 5 to 7.1, cannot charge/play music
 

I recently updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1 and now I can no longer charge my phone and play iTunes by plugging into the center console usb. Has anyone else had this issue or knows of a fix? I am only using usb cables purchased from Apple Store.

2013 3LT with Nav and updated to 7.1 with no problems. May need to reset network settings in phone.

7.1 has some serious bugs right now. You can google them.

My Spotify music app has a lot of lag now but I have not had any charging issues.

Saw a blurb on the news where 7.1 is causing phones to discharge over 50% in an hour. Haven't seen anything otherwise. I updated mine (a 4S) and my wife's (a 5C) a few days ago with no related issues. I've had some "echoing" on some calls, but that happened with the previous IOS too.

No issues with charging but I haven't tried to play music through it just yet. I know I did have issues with some aps when I upgraded to 7.1 but then I just did a mass auto update on all the aps and they started working.

I tried this with no luck.

Seems with each new iPhone & update, fewer buttons on the C6 iPod screen work for me. :( What is the current software in the C6 with Nav/USB? Has there been a compatibility software update to the C6 since my build in Aug 2012? :toetap:
