Awesome. 458 is my favorite current Ferrari model especially the Speciale!

I love my Z06 but the 458 Ferrari is just that much better. i would love to have both! I have owned 7 Ferraris...raced in the Ferrari Challenge Series in Canada and Europe, work currently as a driving instructor with the Ferrari Club of America. Have been so blessed to have had these opportunities....but don't forget....the Racing Corvettes won the 24 Hours of LeMans, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the 6 Hours of Spa in the last few years beating not only Ferrari but BMW, Viper, Porsche, Aston Martin, and Jaguar.

I drove one on a track...and sadly it was not as fun as the Z06! beautiful car but it does not have that low end grunt that the LS7 has..i know its faster but it sure did not feel faster to me!

Yes. Without a second thought. And if you drove a 458 on a track and it wasn't as fun as a Z06 then you are doing it wrong.

I almost bought a 360 Modena before I picked up my Z. But after finding out about the staggering costs to maintain the car the Z won out. I do love the 458, but for the price you can't beat the Z06. I'm not sure of the price now but I'm thinking close to $350k new. And add to that the cost of maintenance which I think is close to $25k every 30 thousand miles and I'll keep my Z. The 458 will beat a Z06 that's stock but put some mods on and it's a close race for a fraction of the cost. My two cents...:D

If it's back to me I won't trade my Z06 for nothing .. and if i broke first thing to do is selling the LX570 then the Shelby then if I'm going to sell the z06 I'll briefer being in jail and keep the 427 at home :D

How is this any different from a regular 458 with a few performance upgrades?

And how come 458's are still losing to Corvettes in ALMS?

those that haven't driven the 458, you need too.........it is a supercar !

It depends. Straight swap with no cash changing hands? Hell yes. Buy one instead of have the Z06? Not likely. Cost of ownership is considerably higher for the Ferrari. Maintaining the Vette is bad enough.

The 458 is my dream car.

I think the stripe is optional.

The Speciale is a dedicated track car. I'd prefer the regular 458.

Yeah obviously.... its worth a lot more. Then sell it and buy my Z06 back and dump the rest into some litecoin mining hardware. How is this even a question?
