2015 C7 Les Stanford Pre-Order Thread!
 

Just wanted to create a thread for those of us that have pre-ordered, or planning on ordering, a 2015 C7 from Les Stanford. I placed my order on May 21st with Kevin Will and I am #50 on the list. Hoping to get the call to place my official order soon! Hoping Les Stanford will begin taking official build orders within the next week....fingers crossed!

Nice, I plan on ordering mine on Monday. Can you tell me what the process is? Do you just go in and put a deposit down to hold your place, and when Chevy releases all their details you go in and customize your car?

Where did you guys find out what number you are? I placed a deposit 3 weeks ago.

It was hand written on the receipt for the deposit that was mailed to me. BTY, on the phone I was told I would be number 25, but the number showed 29 on the mail sent to me..

I was told I am #31 in an email. Placed deposit with Dennis Tap on May 1st.

I'm #52, placed my order with Dennis Tap on May 22nd. Hoping the constraints on Z51's don't make me wait too long.

Personally, I'd rather place my order after I have more information about the new options like the pleated headliner (which I hear might not be available until later in the model year), clear protective decal kit, carbon flash badges, and the new optional wheels. My understanding is that placing an order now will not rush anything.

Just give them a ring. I live in Florida so visiting the dealership wasn't an option. They will take a deposit from you to hold your number in line. Once they start accepting orders, they will contact customers in the order in which the deposits were received.

Same thing happened to me. I called and no one returned my phone call. I called again and got Kevin. Then 2 days later, Dennis called me back from my original phone call. They are a huge dealership so just keep trying.

Just gives me more time to keep changing my mind as to what specifications I want :willy:

Currently looking at a yellow coupe non z51 with black wheels, carbon fiber roof, carbon flash mirrors and z51 spoiler, stinger stripe, performance exhaust. Of course by tomorrow I may change my mind again.

I did speak to Chris for a good while when I was still debating about doing the order. Once I decided I to go through it, I wanted to work with Chris as he had already been very helpful. If I went to someone else I'd feel kind of bad.

Well, looks like the first order (on this forum at least) got pushed through by another dealer today. I emailed Kevin and got an immediate response saying that they have not heard anything yet but it will be some time in June.

Placed deposit on 4/30/2014 with Dennis! :rock:

Mail my deposit on May 23rd to Dennis Tap.
My USPS tracking # said it arrived today, although I was assured it would be there on the 27th.
Mine is a Z51, Crystal Red, 3LT, Kalahari, MSRC. 7 Speed manual, plus other minor options. I am hoping GM employee price does not delay the arrival.
Debating on the CFZ package since I do not want the mirrors and spoiler to get the carbon painted treatment.

It still has not been delivered, should have used UPS or FEDEX.

I did my 2014 z51 with Dennis. All I can say is...they are a dealer that you can actually trust and Dennis kept his word. (From the beginning to the end) Smooth transaction and my baby is beautiful. You guys did the right thing.. Any questions let me know. Or PM me

I put down a deposit with Erik Hibbard (Internet Sales) on March 24th ... Looking forward to the call to place my order for a Laguna Blue Z51.
