Narra VIR June 6-8

Just wondering if any of y'all are going to be there? I'm heading up Thursday afternoon-Sunday. Would like to run into some Corvette guys:thumbs:

I was planning to head up there Saturday to watch.

I'll definitely be there tomorrow. I hope some other CF members can make it.

naschmitz 06-08-2014 06:54 AM

Couldn't make it yesterday, but I'll be there today around noon.

We'll probably just try to find Randy's car and park near there.

The NARRA cars are supposed to be in the first two rows out from the garages.

That is my old car, now owned by David Greenman out of NJ.

I was up there Thursday 4pm to last night. No more 4th gear in qualifying, no spare. Thank you guys for the support, fellow members shipped non-transmission parts in for us on Friday. Made phone calls and text to the Southeast crew looking for a transmission. With no luck. Sleeping on my bed was pretty nice compared to sleeping under the car last night:blueangel:. But running today would have been better.

Overall a great weekend, meet a ton of nice guys and got to watch a bit of racing!

Sorry that I missed you guys.

I stopped by and the guys were telling me they were about to load your car in the trailer.

Same here.

I ran into some guys I know and hung out with them at turn 4. There was some pretty good racing all day. I'll post pics when I can.

I actually got out on the track for some lapping. I got to go fairly quickly in some places. Nobody was really paying attention. :D

Congratulations to the Speedsouth crew for a successful weekend, and to Jason Kennedy in the #8 Corvette for taking up the Speedsouth/Active Power Racing banner where the #9 car left off and his second place finish on Sunday.

Kudos also to Jason Hart for piloting Kennedy's Corvette to an unofficial track record of 1:49.xx:eek: (Video to follow soon)

Condolences to the MTI Racing effort, which failed to deliver on the promise of new track records...

Enjoy! Notice the Lemans Aston Martin disappear in the first lap.
