Glass Top Shades

Ok so my trial with Plasti Dip on my glass top didn't work so now I'm looking at the different types of shades avail for the glass top. What I'm looking for is one that is like a pop in headliner. I'm not interested in the static cling type that I've seen a few people have. I'm sure it works well but I want some thing different. If you have one like I'm talking about please post pictures, where you got it from and how it attaches to the top.

Thanks!

I used to have them on my coupes. The kind I used had a nice soft thick headliner with heavy plastic tabs on the edges that held it up. In fact, it may have been a thin sheet of plastic with headliner material on it. It was really nice. All the corvette vendors have them. Corvette Central, Mid America Motorworks , Ecklers, etc. Those stick on ones are really cheesy compared to these. Just look for the ones with the plastic tabs. Just found it at MAM. Part # 606362 Headliner Blackout, Roof Panel. $67.99

Sorry I don't have pics but if you had a painted roof, that's painted black, it would appear exactly like a clear dark tinted roof on the outside, while the inside view would actually be a headliner. Is this the effect you are after?

Oh, and in the context you used "some thing" should be one word. Don't let it happen again.

Glass...really?:smash:

I bought one a couple weeks ago from this seller on ebay. It's the shade sold by Mid American. It's of nice construction and helps keep the interior cooler. Much better deal because it's got free shipping.

From the looks of it, they're the same, as Mcleod52 said. With the fleabay deal you get free shipping, though.
