Hey Everybody!

Hey guys, I wanted to take the time out to introduce myself and ask you veterans and newbies as much as possible to learn about these amazing machines. So here's a little background on myself.

My name is John I'm coming from the import world and wanted to try something different. This is gonna sound mean BUT I absolutely never saw myself in or even around a muscle car let alone a corvette! I've always been in the import world since I fell in love with cars at the age of BIRTH lol, but seriously I've always been into imports. I liked the fact that they were easy to work on, make them fast, and all around cars for daily's and track. I never saw muscle cars in my life.

As of now I drive a 2012 Subaru Wrx Sti, and hopefully in the process of selling it or trading it in for a C5z. I fell in love with the c5 after speaking with some muscle car heads at a local car meet. One of the guys had a turbo notch and ran 9.70s on low boost and of course that sparked my interest. It got my mind going and he introduced me to his son and his son owned a 240sx with a lq4 with a turbo and made awesome power on again low boost. I love power and reliability and v8 is pretty much the only way to go for that. SO before the c5 I was in the market for putting a ls motor in a rx7/240/miata! Than further research showed alot more than i thought so why not go right to the source of where the ls came from (for the most part i know ls motors are everywhere). I did some research and I love the c5 so im here ready to learn and ready to listen and not act like I know everything cause I don't.

So a few questions i have ( i know there's probably threads on here but if you guys can direct me in the right direction)....

1. Best suspension for drag/street/handling (i would love pdaft but closed)
2. Whats the most and safest power to made with a single turbo on the stock Ls6 with a turbo cam and e85
3.Best company for sways and links
4. Where to buy strut bars
5. Where to buy a harness bar
6. What does the stock drivetrain handle (axels,clutch,transmission, etc)
7. Where to buy steering wheel hub for aftermarket steering wheel
8. And finally any insight on anything you guys know or little tricks or great shops in the tristate area and tuners and pros and cons etc etc.

Thanks so much to anyone and everyone who answers or wishes me the best on this site! I hope to have my C5 soon so maybe i can meet some of you guys and start a new chapter in my life.
