**WARNING** Graphic and Disturbing Images
Some fool poured paint stripper gel (initial report from the owner was that it was acid) all over a new Stingray...not a sight any of us would want to see happen to our new Corvette. I sure hope they catch the perpetrator!

Somebody did too good of a job with the acid to make sure they got every panel, but not the roof or glass. Smells fishy to me or it had too much orange peel and this is one way to get a repaint...:hide:

I know this person, I met her at the Vettes for Vets drive at Talladega several weeks ago and I can tell you the person I met there is not deserving of what I see here. She's a long time supporter of Vetts and Vets and a gracious Lady.

This is her car in front of my Torch Red as we were marshaling for the 2nd run. It was sure looking pristine that day. We were the last two cars which made for some pretty decent speeds coming out of the corners:thumbs:

Saw this on Facebook a while ago. What kind of disgusting, cowardly animal would do something like this? I would have a very hard time dealing with this. :ack: :smash:

Well, if there is an upside, at least it appears to be just the body parts which can be easily replaced. Can't understand why idiots would do such a thing regardless of whether it is a Corvette or another type of car. Some folks save for years in order to purchase their dream car. Makes no sense.
