Portland PIR Corvette show
 

I've heard a rumor there's a show this coming weekend 8/9-8/10 at the racetrack. I can't find any confirmation of this and just want to find advertisement. I'd like to bring my '66 L72 to this event and have some trained eyes look over the car. Any links??

I am not aware of anything at PIR this weekend. However I will be at Beaches Cruise In Wednesday night 8/6 at PIR. I have a 66 small block and would be glad to give you any help I can. What info are you looking for?

Thanx for the response Randy,
I've heard it's next weekend. I've researched all the tell-tale signs and components that made up the solid lifter big blocks and have most of them on my car sans for the motor itself. What I haven't done yet with this car is let it make it's own rounds and let the car's honesty pass the sniff test of others that are well versed.
As for the event, I know there's a major event at PIR which includes a show, an autocross and maybe even a swap?? Then someone I just met told me it's next weekend and just want to confirm.

The car show for the corvettes is today is at jubitz and the autocross is at PIR tomorrow 6.30am to 10am, I am getting the information off the flyer I have for it.

There is a limit of 70 cars, if you need any other information just let me know.

thanx jp, I heard there's a bug-in tomorrow at pir. They're also taking over the dragstrip so are they entertaining both venues?? I checked out PIR's schedule and they don't list anything corvette related.
