Guilty here!

But that 1 inch high bulge that Bubba's screwdriver left from years of being under the hood edge is disappearing because of another Bubba trick....sandbag on the lump for 12 days/rather than a new hood or hours of fiberglass work....

Sand!!!!! near the paint????? Oh that will scratch::eek::eek: willy::willy::willy: I was actually thinking of putting something over my paint the other day as I was sandblasting the window frame. Current paint on mine is a 50 foot job so I don't worry to much about it. Ill just use some of that colored car wax::D Guess I have a little bubba in me.

Sassy started out as a total Bubba-Mobile. Except for the brand spanking new rear suspension, differential and exhaust, just about everything else, was patched, wore out, whored out, stripped out or modified. Even with all that, and a barely warmed over L48 and a worn out four speed, she was still a blast to drive, starting readily, revving willingly and always, carrying that defiant stance for whatever reason, but to possibly state, that she doesn't give a crap what anybody thinks. She is, what she is, and whatever it takes to roll her out and feed the need, is what she'll get.

Well clearly silicone isn't the best answer, but it isn't gonna leak

(Can't really even see it! )

I guarantee you will regret doing that one day. Did you not have any duct tape in the garage? Would hold a lot longer....

Ya....that sucker ain't gonna leak any time soon!
I have a bad back and I'd have to pull the seats and all that's involved.

as long as the job is getting done. I remember recently reading a post about an army guy saying something to the tone of it aint bubba, if it works than it aint stupid or something like that I did that to my car to keep it filling the battery compartment with water every time it use to rain. I remember what rain use to feel like. Now it just keeps it safe from the car wash.
