Hello CF . Has anyone had a 3'' exhaust made or purchased for their C3 ? I'm looking to buy or have one made for my 71 454 . I will be installing some Hooker super comps 2 1/8'' and would like to run 3'' pipes if possible . All ideas are welcome . Thanks in advance .

I have read threads on the subject....it seems that you really need to place a couple 3" diameter short pieces of cardboard or metal tubing under your car on the garage floor at the lowest point where the 3" exhaust will be routed............measure from the bottom of the suspension to the top of the tubes----this measurement will be your ground clearance-( or duct-tape the tubes to the lowest point on the suspension and measure from the bottom of the tube to the garage floor) --------- see if you can "live" with the ground clearance (no sense in ruining new exhausts in deep potholes)
