Is it fine to start vehicle with no h-pipe and muffler?

I am in the process of installing a Corsa Sport and have the h-pipe and mufflers removed. I wanted to hear what it sounds like with straight pipes. :D However, will that throw any codes or cause any damage? I assume all the o2 sensors are in the headers only?

the leaf spring is composite, be careful not to melt it... You will probably throw codes, are you keeping rear o2 sensors?

If you removed the back O2 sensors you will show a code but the car can be driven without hurting anything.

Headers or stock manifolds? With stock manifolds there are no O2 sensors in the H-pipe. No harm in seeing what it sounds like. Took mine around the block with no over axle pipes. The drone was insane. As was mentioned, don't drive it that way for long though as there have been reports of damage to the rear leaf spring with long term use of no over axle pipes.
