Just purchased a used 2014 Z51 vert A6 with 3LT NPP mag ride. How did I do?

I can take it like a man interested what you guys think .Either way its mine now but always LOVE to hear feedback from other forum members good or bad. Well bought a used 2014 Z51 3LT vert A6 with mag ride, NPP,carbon fiber interior, red calipers,NAPA leather, TR black interior black wheels ,spoiler and mirrors MSRP was $77,625 which included $14,630 in options the car was originally purchased 6/1/14 so I have 2 1/2 years of new car warranty left . Car has 5000 miles on it and purchase price was $66,000 however I traded in a 2008 C6 vert with 3LT,NAV,F55 chrome rims with 5700 miles on it and got $37,000 for my trade. KBB shows trade in of my car around $32,000-$33,000 . I look at it this way with the trade value being so high that I bought the car for $61,500.How do you guys think I did .I know its a used 2014 but $16,000 off the original MSRP sounds like a good deal to me.:cheers::flag:

I would say you did well, my dealer here has a 14 2LT Vert (Non-Z) and they are asking $61,900, they have two 14 3lt Z Coupes used and asking around the same price ($61~62K)

Must be about right. Saw a used 2014 yellow C7 vert today at a dealer in Scottsdale advertised for $61,995.

Congrats! Post pics.

Now you can have a mod close all your "which one is better" threads. :spit:

Photos would help with the assessment.

We trudge on.

You did fine.

Rave 12-20-2014 04:20 PM

You did good Dave. Besides the obvious technical differences with your C7, how does the power, ride, and handling compare to your C6?

SilverScorp 12-20-2014 04:32 PM

Awesome Dave!! You'll have a lot of fun with that C7!! :woohoo:

Harry2 12-20-2014 04:35 PM

As an owner of a similarly equipped '14 vert that traded in a '10 GS 4LT vert you did fantastic on the trade in value, especially this time of year!
Congrats, and enjoy your new ride, hope the weather cooperates for you!

Hey you got what you wanted at a huge discount from MSRP who cares if it is a 14 or 15 as it only has 5K on it. Enjoy.

lsp408 12-20-2014 06:31 PM

Always Red Dave 12-20-2014 07:19 PM

You did great!! I got $35000 trade on my 2008 manual 3LT vert with 13000 miles. Enjoy your Corvette, it is a joy to drive.

Red C8 of Jax 12-20-2014 08:18 PM

Congrats on your purchase. Sounds like a good deal to me. You might have a hard time sleeping Monday night. Don't spend Tuesday night washing and waxing.

rcooper 12-20-2014 08:39 PM

I think that you did well. You got a nice car, well optioned and good looking. How could it be any better?
Now all you have to do is spend about 2 weeks reading the manual and learning the ins and outs of the car.....then post about a hundred questions on the forum. That way other members can post " Search is your friend"
Enjoy your new car, DRIVE IT!

I will be able to sleep but washing and waxing the car here in Massachusetts might be hard at 35 degrees.
