Rusty procharger piping
Just bought a car and found the meth has corroded the piping.
Can I get the insides powder coated. Or what's the best route to go? |
sand it out and paint it! or get new piping, powder coating may cost too much. A&A sells all the pipes.

single stage
single stage enamel with hardener meth won't touch it, four years and no problem.

I have some aluminum tubing and can make some for you.

Don't blame you. I wouldn't want to put flaking rusted pipe back in the intake stream either. 304 stainless is such a minimum price increase, should be standard.
If it were me I would replace with stainless or aluminum and never worry about it again. None of that would be hard for a fabricator to replicate. |
I can only make straight sections. Good luck with your search.

Looks like you could buy alum per-bent mandrel bends & fabricate what you need pretty easy

Maybe he was running water through it?
I run all alluminum, except for the top tb inlet pipe, which is steel. I have meth as well, uncoated inside the pipe, no rust after 5 years. |

There is an old saying.. Whiskey mixed with water isn't whiskey.
Methanol mixed with water isn't methanol. So when you said "meth" it was interpreted as 100% meth. Boost juice, washer fluid, etc etc is not "meth" Maybe the water mixed with the meth unlocked the reaction to the uncoated steel. I have never seen a rusty pipe like that since i've been doing this... and thats close to 15 years and "thousands.." of people in contact with. But again I don't deal with "mix" |

The rust inside is what concerns me.
