How many DD their Z06?
Hey folks!
I'm going to put my order in today, but plan to DD it. I figure if I'm going to move from CO to CA, I might as well drive my favorite car every day. Anyone else out there driving their Z06 every day? If so, what are your experiences? Thanks in advance for your opinions/input! |
Planning on DD my new Z07.
Been DD my 2009 Z06 for 5 years. Has 56k miles on it. |
I use to DD my vetts when I was young and foolish but I have gotten that sin out of my life now and I DD no longer. It is a happier life. You should try it.
|
Drive mine whenever and wherever I can, conditions permitting. I don't let rain or snow or dirt or anything get in the way of enjoying the car. Not like it's an appreciating asset!
|
Appreciate the opinions!
Anyone currently DD and if so, what are the pros/cons of using your Z06 in your daily commute? |
I used to drive DD my c6 z06 put 54k on it and my only concern was the front splitter while parking.
|
I picked the Z up December 5th and have daily driven it throughout the New York winter. Something like 5,300 miles on it so far with no road trips. It's been miles of smiles without regrets. Enjoy it!

I have DD my C7, I have 20,000 miles in 14 month, I plan on DD the Z07 this fall (ordering as soon as 16 opens up). The only trouble I've had is with the Z06 splitter I installed on the C7. I destroyed one, on my second splitter, I now have curb alert. Most the time I just back in rather than pull forward. The worst hits are from dips going into or out of parking lots, even when pulling in or out at an angle.

My Z06 is my daily driver. If I had to commute every day in stop-&-go rush hour traffic, maybe not because I have an M7, but since I'm retired and don't have to put up with that nonsense, I have no need for another car.
|
As best as I can through the Connecticut winter. I have stock tires (not the cups) so I've only managed about 900 miles since December 8.
It's my first performance car. I bought it to drive it Now that it's warming up, I hope to drive it a lot more, and have a road trip down South soon. Seth |

If I get one it will be a DD driver. It is a Chevy mass produced not a special order car.

Put 54K miles on my 2011 Z in 3-1/2 years and no reason not to do the same with my C7Z!
If so, what are your experiences? |
